Schedule: 7:40-8:05 Breakfast is served 8:10 School Day Begins 11-11:20 3rd Grade Lunch 11:20-11:40 3rd Grade Recess 12:30-1:20 3rd Grade Activity Release Times: 3:55 Car Riders & Early Bus 4:05 Late Bus Lesson 2 Spelling List Skill: VCe spoke, mile, save, excuse, cone, invite, cube, price, erase, ripe, broke, flame, life, rule Review: these, those Challenge: surprise, decide Sentence: There was no excuse when those kids broke the rule and had to pay the price. A Note from the Teacher… Homework: Please practice rounding to the nearest 10’s and 100’s with your child. Additionally, remember to practice multiplication facts nightly. Spelling lists come home on Friday nights and again on Tuesday. STAY CONNECTED: Our classroom has a class page at It will contain our weekly skills and spelling words, newsletters, and classroom photos. Select your campus from the top of the page and locate my name under staff. Additionally, you may sign up for remind to receive updates and reminders by texting @tatum3rd to Power School: You can keep up to date with your child’s grades. If you have internet access, you can review your child’s grades in Power School. Call the office for your log in and password. I normally update grades on Sunday and Monday evenings. Yearbooks: Yearbooks are on sale now- They cost $35 until the end of the first semester. After that they are $45. Snacks: Please send enough snacks for 26 students once per month. Language Arts: We will learn about the different types of sentences. Math: We will add large numbers with regrouping. We will continue to practice rounding.
