We must study the past in order to help us build the future we want.
History starts when somebody writes down what happened. But how accurate are they?
“My Voice” Themes
1. Reading deeply takes special skills and leads to the respect of peers.
2. If you want to be heard, know what you’re talking about. Read. Research.
3. Writing that is worth reading takes time and criticism.
4. English is a difficult language to learn. You have to work at it.
