Prepare two blocks (a), approx. ¾”x 3” x 6”.
Prepare two spacers whose width = width of (a) and length = (length of (a)/2) -width of ruler and thickness = thickness of ruler.
At bottom center of one (a), counter bore to accept 3/8” hex nut.
In same (a), drill 3/8” hole through block.
Epoxy nut in counter bore.
Glue four parts (a) and (b), with ruler in place.
Thread the threaded knob through block to lock ruler / block in place.
