4 TEAM’s Objectives Members asked for:
No reductions No less than cost of living increases No more two-tiering We made proposals on the following: Compensation Benefits Working Conditions Workplace Problems and Issues

5 Tentative Agreement Three-year agreement
Pay increase retroactive to February 20th All changes effective on ratification of the Collective Agreement

6 Wages All increases are on base:
Feb 20th 2016 – 1.5% Feb 20th 2017 – 2% Feb 20th 2018 – 2% VPP payouts prorated when moving between 2% and 7% plans Northern Retention Premium Increased from 5% to 7%

7 Article 6 - Arbitration Single arbitrator for all arbitrations:
Improves chances of earlier hearing Reduces cost Expedited Arbitration process for members without income

8 Other Lateral Transfers Parking Benefits
Now allows for job rotation. MTS required to act reasonably, fairly, and in good faith when transferring employees. Parking Benefits To be reviewed to determine which employees are required to use a personal vehicle for work on a regular basis and how best to provide parking at their work location.

Compressed Work Week it was never used Allstream Acquisition no longer relevant

Overtime and Call-out Voluntary Retirement Incentive Program Pay Schedules (other than the increases)

11 Why Recommended? Having achieved the primary goals, your Negotiating Committee deemed it appropriate to give you the opportunity to vote We believe it is the best settlement we could achieve without a strike mandate

From the conclusion: “BCE cannot take steps to eliminate TEAM or to defeat the collective bargaining agreement about to be renewed.”
