Presentation on theme: "Chapter 12.2 Removable Discontinuities and Algebraic Methods"— Presentation transcript:

1 Chapter 12.2 Removable Discontinuities and Algebraic Methods 1.0 Students demonstrate knowledge of both the formal definition and the graphical interpretation of limit of values of functions. This knowledge includes one-sided limits, infinite limits, and limits at infinity. Students know the definition of convergence and divergence of a function as the domain variable approaches either a number or infinity: Warm Up Describe the difference between “undefined” and “indeterminate” as applied to limits. Thursday, February 28, 2019 ESLR -Tracy High Graduates will be Independent Learners Who Set realistic and challenging goals

This knowledge includes one-sided limits, infinite limits, and limits at infinity. Students know the definition of convergence and divergence of a function as the domain variable approaches either a number or infinity: On assignments, I expect the problems to be copied and sufficient work to be shown. When graphs are given, I expect a quick sketch to be drawn as reference. The goal is for you to be able to look at your assignments and relearn how to solve problems. Limit notation will be scrutinized with great attention.
