2. Digestive System
The digestive system is a process that food goes through to give your body the nutrients it needs .

3. Mouth
In the mouth the teeth take apart the food and saliva covers the food .

4. Epiglottis
The Epiglottis is a flap of tissue. Your food & drinks pass to get to the Esophagus.

5. Esophagus
The Esophagus is a muscular tube that is lined with mucus. The muscles move the food down in a process called Peristalsis.

6. Stomach
The stomach breaks up the food , and acid is added to help it break down .

7. Small Intestine
In small intestine the nutrients are taken out and sent to the blood.

8. Helping Organs
The Liver ,Gallbladder , and Pancreas are helping organs to the small intestine. The Liver and Gallbladder produce & store Bile , and the Pancreas produces Enzymes.

9. Large Intestine
In the large intestine the water is taken out of the broken up food and sent to the blood.

10. Rectum & Anus
In rectum the mixed up food turns into a solid , and in the anus the solid exits.
