2 Fig 1 The CP-838 pneumatic air knife is manufactured by Chicago Pneumatic and was introduced to the autoglass industry in The tool can be fitted with flexible blades, straight or curved, which more speedily facilitate the removal of windshield glass from the rubber perimeter moldings. The tool is also used for cutting fiberglass or plastic in autobody and repair shops. The air pressure used to power the tool is adjustable and typically ranges from 60 to 90 psi. The vibration frequency ranges from 5.6 to 1400 Hz.
