The Worldly Pursuits….
1. “Whose end is destruction” (the end of the effort is worthless pursuits)
2. “Whose god is their belly” (Judaizers whose focus was on diet, appetite, consumption)
3. “Whose glory is their shame” (taking pride in shameful living)
4. “Whose mind is on earthly things” (no eternal outlook, nothing with forever stamped on it)

Activity and Awareness: “eagerly wait”
Transformed and Humble: “Transform our lowly body”
Balance and Control: “He is able to subdue all things”
