2. Passions I’m using Acting Music
Ideas that I want to incorporate into this passion:
Getting the students on their feet when we are reading plays.
Looking at the tone that the different characters could use while saying lines in either a play or a novel.
Looking at how plays would be performed out on stage.
Music
Ideas that I want to incorporate into this passion:
When looking at what is going on in the time period that the text we are reading, look into what music was popular during this time and how this is shown in the text.

3. Timeline for Year-Long Plan
I want to give myself different check points:
Every Friday, since we do not have class I am planning on spending the same amount of time we spend in class working on the year-long plan so that I am working on it once a week.
This may change, but I would like to get one unit done every 2 weeks. (Though it may speed up or slow down based on the unit)
This includes creating the assignments, activities, and assessments for the unit and incorporating the standards into them.

4. Goals!!
I want to figure out where I stand on revisions, redoes, and homework and how I want them to look in my class.

5. Context
I am hoping to do my student teaching in the Adams 12 school district at Rocky Top Middle School.
I really do not care which grade I teach.
So the classes would be either English 6, 7, or 8.
