Context
At the last IEEE meeting, we presented some possible candidate calibration tests for the MAC simulator.
Proposed Calibration For MAC simulator
Some of these tests were added to the simulation scenario document after slight modifications.
Simulation Scenarios
One such test was test 2b.
It turns out that it is difficult to converge on the same results for test2b.
For this reason we plan to give additional details on the MAC functionality which affects the results of test 2b.

Under Test 2b Assumptions:
Add the following text.
Interference Assumptions:
If any part of an MPDU sees interference, that MPDU should fail
If any part of a data preamble sees interference, all MPDUs should fail
If an MPDU, or data premable sees no interference, it should pass
If an ACK overlaps with the transmission of an OBSS AP, the PER on the ACK should be 0. (i.e. the ACK should pass)
Backoff
If no ACK is received, the transmitter should double it’s CW.
If an ACK is received, the transmitter should reset its CW
If no MPDUs are decoded, no ACK should be sent.
After 10 missing ACKS, the CW should be reset.
PER definition
PER= 1-Acked MPDUs/Total MPDUs sent
( TPUT can be computed from number of successfully ACKed MPDUs and the total time)

Conclusion
We proposed to add extra text to the simulation scenarios document to clarify the MAC calibration proceedure
