Activity Description: “The IOM has been asked by the Department of Health and Human Services to convene a committee to identify quality measures for the Healthy People Leading Health Indicators. This activity builds on a multi-year effort in the DHHS Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health to develop a framework for quality improvement in public health, and also links with other activities in the public health and health care delivery fields. The committee’s report, which is due in June 2013, is expected to be of use to public health officials and their partners in the health care sector.”
