5. Balanced Forces
do not change the motion of an object

6. Unbalanced Forces
Forces acting on an object that combine and form a net force that is NOT zero

7. According to Newton’s First law of motion
If the net force of an object is zero, the objects motion does not change

8. Inertia is the tendency for an object to keep doing what it is doing
So, we call Newton’s 1st law the law of inertia
