Number of submissions up 60% year on year (4314 versus 2698) Beer continues to be the largest section with 48% (2074) of all submissions versus 61% (1645) in 2015 Spirits are the next largest sector comprising 40% (1744) of submissions versus 25% (684) YAG Cider down from 11% (292) in 2015 to 5% (226) ytd

Paid-for-on-line activations is the single largest medium comprising 45% of all submissions (1932) Owned-on-line accounts for 14% of all submissions (622) OOH is down from 29% (781) in 2015 to 19% (800) ytd TV is also down from 13% (345) in 2015 to 4% (176) in 2016

Irish based Digital Agencies account for 41% (1783) of all submissions – in 2015 they accounted for 19% (518) of all submissions Irish based Advertising Agencies are down from 31% (828) in 2015 to 17% (745) in 2016 Media Agencies account for 11% (475) in 2016 versus 7% (197) in 2015 Note – Overseas agencies 10% ; 13.5% in 2015

5 However …. Is this not just a reflection on how the Industry is changing and how these ‘traditional’ names do not reflect the reality of how our business actually operates?
