Hypothesis If the water temperature is higher, then the gummy bear will grow faster than in cold water.

Why would it be inappropriate to have two independent variables?
You wouldn’t be able to tell which variable affected the dependent variable. You would be changing two things at once, which could make it hard to compare data.

Conclusion I am testing the effect of the amount of fertilizer on plant growth after one month. My hypothesis is that if the amount of fertilizer is increased, then the plant growth will increase. First, I potted 5 separate plants. Then, I added different amounts of fertilizer in each one, starting with 10 g and increasing it by 10 g for each pot.
8
Conclusion (pt 2) After one month, the 10 g pot’s plant was 4.8 cm, the 20 g was 5.3 cm, the 30 g was 6.6 cm (the seeds for this plant came from a different bag), the 40 g was 5.8 cm, and the 50 g plant died. If I were to test this further, I would try to figure out how the 50 g plant died.

Another Conclusion The purpose of this experiment was to see how plant growth was affected by the amount of fertilizer used, after one month. The hypothesis was that the more fertilizer you gave a plant the more it would grow. They were almost completely right. To test this they tested 5 different seeds, but one was from a different bag. They gave each seed a different amount of fertilizer (10-20 g) and watched them grow over one month.

Another Conclusion (pt 2)
As they hypothesized, the more fertilizer they gave a plant, the taller it grew. The seed from a different bag grew more than the one that got 10 more grams of fertilizer. And, the seed that got 50 g of fertilizer died. A further test would be using seeds from all the same bag (which was also an error in this experiment).
