These changes were known as the INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION
Before IR, most people farmed & lived in small villages. Work is accomplished by domestic system (cottage industry) Goods are produced in the home. Common land used for planting crops & keeping livestock. Great Britain had lots of coal and iron ore. These were used to make iron, steel, & machines Enclosure movement leads to more workers that move to city for work Factory System is when workers & machines are brought together in one place outside the home. These changes were known as the INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION _____________________

Working with 1-2 other people (maximum), you will read through the packet and fill in the appropriate information for each Industrial Revolution innovator. ** Change “Year” category to “Important Invention” ** If you finish early, begin the map activity.
