Financial literacy is important for children to understand at home, but it is also being integrated and taught as a standard subject in today’s school curriculum. Register now, to hear from Rocco & Associates and their partner, American Century, as they discuss how to raise financially aware children.
Parents want their children to experience financial comfort later in life, and as such, attending parents will receive tangible exercises and methods to help educate their children on: spending, saving, and investing. While there is no perfect and "right" way to handle money, parents will learn easy methodology to help bring financial harmony to their children’s future.
The program, “Yes, You Can! Raise Financially Aware Kids,” directed at parents, discusses how to teach children the value of a dollar and that things in general are not free. It will introduce a step-by-step process that gets young children to understand the importance of financial well-being including, savings, managing allowances, achieving financial goals, and making donations. Also, as a free gift to parents, the book, “Yes, You Can! Raise Financially Aware Kids” will be available to download for free on the Kindle, Nook, Ipad and other eReader devices to help parents get the process started in their home (limited hard copies will be available).
