The SPEED Plus project
I applied to the SPEED Plus project because of the support system it would provide for my start-up business. Having been a part of the project, I have been able to grow my business in ways that I otherwise would have been unable to do, and although my business has undergone changes throughout the months I’ve been with SPEED Plus, I feel that I would have floundered with these changes without the support of the the mentoring program, and support of the project.
What advice would you give graduates considering applying for SPEED Plus?
If I could give any advice for people considering applying for SPEED Plus, it would be to just try it. It’s worth it if you’re starting your own business. And, of course to be sure to utilise everything the project offers to you!
The Future
Honestly, I don’t know what the future will bring. At the time of the scheme finishing, my business in somewhat in a state of flux, still, which whilst exciting, means that the future is a little unpredictable. Whatever happens though, it is very exciting.
