Your work has an interesting composition that is well balanced and well proportioned focal points. Your background and foreground are interrelated and present a seamless scene. You have used materials in a more complex manner which is demanding of your skill set. You have worked carefully with complex tonal ranges and colour mixing. The piece has refined details, including different marks for the textures and careful attention to the edges of the objects. 5 Your work has an interesting composition in which the focal points are clear and of a prominent size. Your background is suitable and considered. You have used materials which are appropriate to the effect you planned. You have worked carefully and have used colour theory and a range of tones. The piece is reasonably detailed with some good mark making for textures. 4 Your work shows a clear focal point which is well sized to draw attention. Your background has been planned and generally suits the focal points. You have used the materials that you planned and have handled then with reasonable success.
