THE OPENING HYMN #797 [ All who are able please stand ]

13 Come, ye thankful people, come, raise the song of harvest home;
(1) Come, ye thankful people, come, raise the song of harvest home; all is safely gathered in, ere the winter storms begin. God our Maker doth provide for our wants to be supplied; come to God's own temple, come, raise the song of harvest home.

14 All the world is God's own field, fruit as praise to God we yield;
(2) All the world is God's own field, fruit as praise to God we yield; wheat and tares together sown are to joy or sorrow grown; first the blade and then the ear, then the full corn shall appear; Lord of harvest, grant that we wholesome grain and pure may be.

15 For the Lord our God shall come, and shall take the harvest home;
(3) For the Lord our God shall come, and shall take the harvest home; from the field shall in that day all offenses purge away, giving angels charge at last in the fire the tares to cast; but the fruitful ears to store in the garner evermore.

16 Even so, Lord, quickly come, bring Thy final harvest home;
(4) Even so, Lord, quickly come, bring Thy final harvest home; gather Thou Thy people in, free from sorrow, free from sin, there, forever purified, in Thy presence to abide; come, with all Thine angels, come, raise the glorious harvest home.

21 THE HOLY SCRIPTURE Philippians 1:1-11
Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the return of Christ Jesus.

22 It is right for me to feel this way about all of you, since I have you in my heart and, whether I am in chains or defending and confirming the gospel, all of you share in God’s grace with me. God can testify how I long for all of you with the affection of Christ Jesus. And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the return of Christ, filled with the fruit of right living that comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.

23 THE SONG OF PREPARATION
#790 ‘WE GATHER TOGETHER TO ASK THE LORD’S BLESSING’

24 to ask the Lord’s blessing; He chastens and hastens
(1) We gather together to ask the Lord’s blessing; He chastens and hastens His will to make known. The wicked oppressing now cease from distressing. Sing praises to His Name; He forgets not His own.

25 Ordaining, maintaining His kingdom divine; So from the beginning
(2) Beside us to guide us, our God with us joining, Ordaining, maintaining His kingdom divine; So from the beginning the fight we were winning; Thou, Lord, were at our side, all glory be Thine!

26 Thou Leader triumphant, And pray that Thou still our Defender will be.
(3) We all do extol Thee, Thou Leader triumphant, And pray that Thou still our Defender will be. Let Thy congregation escape tribulation; Thy Name be ever praised! O Lord, make us free!

A FAREWELL SERMON I THANK MY GOD EVERY TIME I REMEMBER YOU Philippians 1:1-11 Bayshore Gardens Community Church Rev. Dr. Daniel Herlein

28 Philippians 1:1a Paul and Timothy, servants of Jesus to all the saints in Christ Jesus at Philippi together with the Elders and Deacons:

29 Philippians 1:2 Grace (charis) and peace (shalom) to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

30 2 Corinthians 4:18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. Hebrews 12:2 Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith.

31 IT’S ALL ABOUT GOD AND NOT ABOUT US. Ephesians 5:15-17 Be careful how you live, not foolishly, but as those who are wise. Make the most of every opportunity for doing good in these evil days. Don’t act thoughtlessly, but try to understand what the Lord wants you to do.

32 Philippians 1:3-5 I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for you, I always pray WITH JOY because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now. Matthew 19:26 If God is in it, NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE.

33 Philippians 1:6 Being confident of this, that God who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the return of Christ Jesus.

34 1 Corinthians 3:11 For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ our Lord.

35 Philippians 1:6 It is right for me, to feel this way about all of you, since I have you in my heart; Philippians 1:8 God can testify how I long for all of you with the affection of Christ Jesus.

36 Philippians 1:9-11 And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the return of Christ, filled with the fruit of right-living that comes through Jesus Christ to the glory and praise of God.

37 1 Corinthians 15:58 Stand firm - let nothing move you away from God’s work. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor for the Lord is not in vain” Philippians 1:2-3 Grace and Peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ; I thank my God every time I remember you.

38 The Pastoral Prayer and The Lord’s Prayer
OUR FATHER, WHO ART IN HEAVEN, HALLOWED BE THY NAME. THY KINGDOM COME, THY WILL BE DONE, ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN. GIVE US THIS DAY OUR DAILY BREAD, AND FORGIVE US OUR DEBTS AS WE FORGIVE OUR DEBTORS; AND LEAD US NOT INTO TEMPTATION BUT DELIVER US FROM EVIL. FOR THINE IS THE KINGDOM, AND THE POWER, AND THE GLORY FOREVER AMEN.
