Western Costume Web Store : Sell Ready Made Costumes Tasks: Determine web host server and site architecture Determine costs, create budget, production plan Store Format, Layout, Navigation, Visual Style Author Web pages (HTML, JavaScript, etc. Web graphics) Write store content and marketing materials Photograph costumes for web page display Provide ongoing store management Provide customer service Supervise fulfillment of orders Market and promote store using most economic means possible: press releases, ads placed in special interest group news letters, reciprocal links, high placement in search engines, guerilla marketing in newsgroups. Provide onsite class presentations on “Professional Use and Practices for Using Western Costume Company Services” SCITT events at Western Costume Company Tour of Facilities Special Collection Presentations Special Skills Presentations (distressing, hat care and restoration, rescuing damaged footwear, etc.) January 19, 2004

Development of “School” for Finished Costumers Note: since the demise of the Finished Costumer certificate program at CSU Longbeach there is no program in the United States that is providing finished costumer training. Initial program would be traditional “stand-up live presentation format. Evening and weekend classes onsite at WCC Cirrocumuli would be arrived at using cirruculum from the CSU Longbeach program, program taught by Stephanie through Otis Continuing Ed and in collaboration with Local 705 Education Committee. Affilliation with a Continuing Ed college program will be sought, but is not necessary. Program Marketing will be done through articles and notices placed in Special Interest news letters, newsgroups and web page that places well in search engines, reciprocal site links. Development of “School” for Finished Costumers Tasks: Feasibility study re: use of available facilities and projected overhead expenses. Documentation of Program, program structure, program content. Cirriculum development using pre existing syllabus Determine course and lab fees Development of marketing materials Implementation of Marketing Scheduling Creation of registration and student tracking system with web based access. Teach classes. As program grows, recruit and hire additional instructors. January 19, 2004

Stephanie is: Multi skilled and capable of executing the suggested 4 projects. Stephanie expense is salary, plus office/workspace with adequate computer work station and internet connection. Project expenses for Web Store: Digital camera Cost of hosting server on a monthly or annual basis Cost of authoring softwares if required by hosting service Hosting fees based on sales revenue Shipping & Handling costs Purchase of specialty advertising placement in search engines. Search engine registration costs. Project expenses for Outreach Program: Promotional Handout Flyer Transportation Costs for WCC rep to onsite presentations and programs WCC overhead expenses for onsite tours and presentations Special occasion presence at SCITT or USITT trade expositions January 19, 2004

Proposition: Hire Stephanie to implement all the the suggested projects under the Local 705 Costume House Contract so she will receive benefits and pension credits. Simultaneously work on the Web Store and Local College Outreach and implementing the live video conferencing service. Once the web store is in place, begin to develop Finished Costumer Class programs, including the development of the Online Courses. January 19, 2004
