Active NHS Mail address and active Must be able to send and receive mail via NHS SHARED Mail address Activate account 90 day expiry of password 180 day deletion Password needs to be changed on all devices Still too many Inactive Access the generic shared account via linked personal NHS mail account Question: Can we use your NHS Mail account to sent LPC comms? Information: Non-compliance to Gateway in Nov 17 has been communicated to contrators via this shared account

Active NHS Mail address ON 29TH JUNE If a pharmacy has a shared mail address and has linked it to their personal NHS mail and has used it then great! If a pharmacy has a shared mail address but hasn’t linked it to their personal one because they either haven’t got a personal one, or they haven’t got a password for their personal one, or they just can’t link them for some reason, then they need to and clearly explain what they need (please include your ODS code in the heading) If they haven’t got a shared mail address then they need to apply through the portal Links: pharmacy-nhsmail-account/

Why not send something to the LPC via you NHS Mail account? – for evidence

Safeguarding “On the day of the review 80% of registered pharmacy professionals working at the pharmacy have achieved level 2 safeguarding status for children and vulnerable adults in the last two years.” (are they still valid??) Make sure NEW staff are taken into account and qualification is still within 2 years when calculating your 80%

Clinical – Asthma “On the day of the review, the pharmacy can show evidence of asthma patients, for whom more than 6 short acting bronchodilator inhalers were dispensed without any corticosteroid inhaler within a 6 months period, are referred to an appropriate health care professional for an asthma review” and since the November input!!!! Where no patients are identified for referral, you will still be eligible for payment if you can evidence that you have been working to identify suitable patients and that you have a process in place for referral should you identify someone Links: asthma-review-v2.pdf
