I am going to talk about WASH and Nutrition Integration effort of WASHplus project. As part of the WASH and Nutrition Integration we have developed job aids to help outreach workers remember and negotiate improved WASH practices with the targeted household members.
In Bangladesh, WASHplus is 4 year USAID activity with WaterAid as primary implementing partner, working through partner NGOs
FHI 360 leads objective 3, and provides overarching guidance in behavior change working with USAID nutrition partners

3. Objectives To develop job aid materials to promote
--- safe child feces disposal practices in Southwestern Bangladesh
--- improved WASH behaviors among rural caregivers of young children

4. Most of us are familiar with this cartoon !!
ODF is an important result of CLTS but safe disposal of infant and young children’s feces need more attention.
To emphasize safe child feces disposal we attempted to develop job aids so that outreach workers can assess households current sanitation situation and negotiate improved practices.

5. We focused on 4 age cohort to identify existing feces disposal practices and suggest improved and safe disposal.

6. Here we showed the feasible and small doable actions based on the current practices. While assessing household current feces disposal practices outreach workers can suggest improved practices according to the age cohort.

This is a 8 panel 7 fold material. It summarizes the common WASH actions we need to practice.
Here we compiled all improved WASH actions with age cohort starting from prenatal/pregnancy period.
