Book Orders are in the packet. I will place the order next Friday 2/9. Please submit online orders by Thursday night and paper orders to school by Thursday 2/8.

I still have time slots available for conferences. Remember to use the log-in codes that were previously sent home. Check with Mrs. Kolb if you are having difficulty with this, also.
The 100th day of school will be Tuesday. Collections and Riddles may be turned in on Monday or Tuesday.
We are working on place-value and counting to 120. The students have been practicing counting by tens with different numbers in the ones place, for example 24, 34, , 104, 114. Anytime they have to count over 100 it gets tricky. Encourage them to pick a number and count up and back by tens! We are also working on greater than and less than and using the proper <,> symbols.
VALENTINES!! On the back of this letter is a class list. Students should use this list to make out their cards to address to each classmate. Passing out cards is optional but make sure your child has one for each for everybody. We will celebrate Valentine’s Day on the 13th.
We will be decorating Valentine’s mailboxes with our 7th grade buddies on February 8th! Please prepare a shoebox at home and send it in any day next week. Wrap your shoe box in plain paper. I suggest wrapping the lid separately from the box so your child will be able to get their Valentines out ;)Cut a hole in the top large enough for Valentines and treats to be delivered. Write your child’s name on the bottom of the box. Send in decorations to share! Please NO glitter! We will also provide some decorations!
In Religion this week we had a Baptism and Confirmation in class! Be sure to ask about the sacraments!
Some children need to retake a Religion test or two! Information is stapled in your packet if needed!
