THE 5 STATES OF MATTER By Dikshit Rishi Jain

Which are the five states of matter?

●Solid State ●Liquid State ●Gaseous State ●Plasma State ●Bose Einstein Condensate Which are the five states of matter? The world around us consists of these 5 states of matter. They are made of many smaller particles called molecules. The molecules break up into even smaller particles called atoms. The following are the five states of matter :

●Solid State ●Liquid State ●Gaseous State The common states of matter. Their are three main states of matter. The other two are not commonly known. They are plasma state and bose einstein condensate.

●Neutrons ●Electrons ●Protons The various parts of the atom. The atom is divided into 3 different particles. Their are many layers in the atom, and the three different particles lie their.

SOLID STATE Solid state is the main state of matter. It is found almost everywhere. The particles or molecules are tightly arranged in the solid state. Solids have a fixed volume and shape. Some of the common items included in solid state are: table, ice, pencil etc. Even our body is of solid state.

LIQUID STATE Liquid state is a precious state of matter. The particles or molecules are arranged loosely as compared to the solid state the solid state, allowing it to flow. It changes its shape depending on the shape of the container it is poured in, but its volume is always same.

GASEOUS STATE Gaseous state is a precious state of matter. The particles or molecules are arranged the most loosely, allowing it to freely flow. It changes its shape randomly, and its volume is always not the same. It spreads completely in the room. If the amount of the gas is more than the volume of the room it will break the room to take the place.

PLASMA STATE Plasma state is a dangerous state of matter. The particles or molecules are arranged very loosely, allowing it to freely flow. Their are positive and negative molecules in this state, making it dangerous to touch. It doesn't have a definite shape or volume. When the gaseous state is extremely heated it turns into plasma state.

BOSE EINSTEIN CONDENSATE A Bose-Einstein condensate (BEC) is a state of matter of a dilute gas of bosons cooled to temperatures very close to absolute zero. A BEC is formed by cooling a gas of extremely low density, about one-hundred-thousandth the density of normal air, to ultra-low temperatures. This state was first predicted by S.N. Bose and Einstein.
