Simple and Easy Oil/Grease contaminated water clean up www.dutchfiltration.com
2
Oily Water Treatment and Waste Minimisation Complies with current (and changing) legislation. Removal of oil from slopwater, bilge, drain, completion and waste water. Minimising fluid volumes which require clean-up/disposal. Treat waste water onsite, minimize shipment of waste
3
Oily Water Treatment Systems The solution is based around filtration, coalescence & oil- adsorption. Quickly and effectively removes virtually all the hydrocarbons from water at flow rates which make it practical for use in oilfield operations. Existing oilfield filtration equipment can be used, simple and easy rig-up. Pump and treat
4
Applications Hydrocarbon based fluids successfully removed include: Crude Oil Diesel Gasoline Condensate White Spirit Hydraulic oil Oilfield Applications Include Waste water Well testing Produced water Bilge water Environmental clean up. Decommissioning equipment Pipeline purging Run off water/ Open drain
5
3 options for oily water treatment Particle removal (filtration) Coalescing (bulk oil removal) Oil Absorption Particle removal (filtration) Oil Absorption Option 1. Single stage option Oil Absorption Option 2 2 stage system Solids removal and Oil Absorption Option 3 3 stage system Solids removal, Coalescing and Oil Absorption

7
1 st stage – A- filtration Removal solids. - protect coalescer and oil absorption elements 20 micron with string wound elements or filter bags
8
2 nd stage – B - coalescing Removal of bulk free oil Dual vessel unit is used in ‘reverse flow’ Flow through coalescing elements inside to outside. Coalescing elements – glass fiber. 50 pcs per vessel Separated oil is collected and drained from top vessel
9
3 rd stage – C- oil absorption Dual vessel filter unit fitted with 50 oil absorption elements per vessel. Last traces of oil will absorbed in the elements, efficiency >99% in single pass. Oil is chemically bonded (proprietary polymer) OilLock. Holds max 2 kg of hydrocarbons capacity, change out on dP (2bar), 1 m3/hr/40” element Standard size: 2.5x40 inch code3/flat

OilLock Absorption cartridge CLEAN WATER CLEANDIRTY CHANGE 0 bar 1.5 bar 2.5 bar Differential Pressure Absorption of oil and grease from water Effluent < 5ppm Rates : 8 GPM / element Inlet concentrations upto 5% WATER WITH OIL/GREASE
11
After saturation BLOCKAGE OF FLOW CLEANDIRTY CHANGE 0 bar 1.5 bar 2.5 bar Differential Pressure After saturation, cartridge solidified No bleed through of oil/grease Flow 100% block of dirty water Holding capacity : 2 lbs/oil / 1kg oil Change out on dP (1.5 bar) WATER WITH OIL/GREASE
12
BENEFITS OilLock Absorption Cartridge Fits standard filter units/housings – Very simple to use Change out on dP = very easy to use, on- and offshore No bleed through of oil/grease in clea water High Efficiency (effluent <5ppm) High Absorption Capacity High flow rates
