REGISTRATION PROCESS Open Website. Click on Sign Up. Then fill the required information:- a. User Name b. Email Id c. Phone No. d. Address e. Nationality f. D.O.B. g. Occupation After that you will get a message at your phone no. as well as your email id. Now you can make your E-TICKET by clicking on Signing.

PROCEDURE OF BOOKING A RAILWAY TICKET ONLINE Apply Online Enter the URL http://www.irctc.co.in by using a browser.http://www.irctc.co.in Enter the user name, password, and click Login. The reservation page appears. Enter the first three characters of your source journey in the From field. The reservation system prompts you to select from the list of sources. Enter the first three characters of your destination journey in the To field. The reservation system prompts you to select from the list of sources. Select the date from the calendar. Choose the ticket type - i-ticket, e-ticket. Choose the quota type - General, Tatkal, Ladies Click Find Trains. The train list is displayed on the right side. Select the train and choose the berth type (SL,3A,2A,1A,2S,Chair Car (CC),FA). The page refreshes and displays the availability.

Procedure of Booking Railway Ticket Online Click Book on the chosen date that has availability. The system refreshes and displays the reservation form. Enter the passenger name (15 characters are allowed), age, sex(male, female), type of berth (lower, middle, side lower,side upper, upper). Enter the passenger mobile number. Enter the verification code. Click Go. The system prompts you to select the type of payment - credit card, netbanking, debit card, mobile payment Choose your convenient payment type and make the payment. The reservation system prepares to display the ticket. You should wait for sometime to see the ticket. But, do not refresh the page or navigate to previous page. If you do so, the ticket will not be booked, but the amount will be debited from your account. You will receive a text message (SMS) from IRCTC about your journey details. You can show the SMS to the railway Ticket Collector (TC)with a valid document (PAN Card, Ration Card, Aadhar Card, Voter Card).

CHANGES IN IRCTC IRCTC has launched a loyalty programme called Shubh Yatra for frequent travellers. IRCTC launched a scheme called Rolling Deposit Scheme (RDS). RDS is a hassle-free e-ticket booking scheme. allowing passengers to reserve seats against advance money kept with the corporation.

Tourist Trains Palace on Wheels: is a specially designed luxury train service, frequently halted by a steam locomotive, for promoting tourism in Rajasthan. The Train has a 7 nights & 8 days itinerary, it departs from New Delhi ( Day 1), and covers Jaipur (Day 2), Sawai Madhopur and Chittaurgarh (Day 3), Udaipur (Day 4), Jaisalmer (Day 5), Jodhpur (Day 6), Bharatpur and Agra (Day 7), return to Delhi (Day 8). Royal Rajasthan on Wheels: a luxury tourist train service covers various tourist destinations in Rajasthan. The train takes tourists on a 7-day/8-night tour through Rajasthan. Deccan Odyssey: luxury tourist train service covers various tourist destinations in Maharashtra and Goa. The 7 Nights/ 8 days tour starts from Mumbai (Day 1) and covers Jaigad Fort, Ganapatipule and Ratnagiri (Day 2), Sindhudurg, Tarakali & Sawantwadi (Day 3), Goa (Day 4), Kolhapur and Pune (Day 5), Aurangabad and Ellora Caves (Day 6), Ajanta Caves and Nashik (Day 7), and back to Mumbai (Day 8)

The 7 nights/8 Days tour starts from New Delhi (Day 1) and covers Bodh Gaya (Day 2), Rajgir and Nalanda (Day 3), Varanasi and Sarnath (Day 4), Kushinagar and (Day 5 and 6), Sravasti (Day 7), Taj Mahal (Agra) (Day 8) before returning to New Delhi on (Day 8).
