7 Feast Days of God Deuteronomy 16:16
Three times a year all your males shall appear before the LORD your God in the place which He chooses: at the Feast of Unleavened Bread, at the Feast of Weeks, and at the Feast of Tabernacles; and they shall not appear before the LORD empty-handed. Passover Feast of Unleavened Bread Feast of First Fruits Feast of Pentecost Feast of Trumpets Day of Atonement Feast of Tabernacles There are two feasts in the bible that are missing from the origina list – Purim and Dedication.

8 Blowing of Trumpets Leviticus 23:24-25, Numbers 29:1-6 Launches a second series of days - Preparing for Atonement (10 days) - Preparing for Tabernacles (15 days) Later – became the New Year Le 23:24 "Speak to the sons of Israel, saying, 'In the seventh month on the first of the month you shall have a rest, a reminder by blowing of trumpets, a holy convocation. 25 'You shall not do any laborious work, but you shall present an offering by fire to the LORD.'“ Nu 29:1 ¶ 'Now in the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you shall also have a holy convocation; you shall do no laborious work. It will be to you a day for blowing trumpets. Ex 23:16; 34:22; Le 23:24 2 'You shall offer a burnt offering as a soothing aroma to the LORD: one bull, one ram, and seven male lambs one year old without defect; 3 also their grain offering, fine flour mixed with oil: three-tenths of an ephah for the bull, two-tenths for the ram, 4 and one-tenth for each of the seven lambs. 5 'Offer one male goat for a sin offering, to make atonement for you, 6 besides the burnt offering of the new moon and its grain offering, and the continual burnt offering and its grain offering, and their drink offerings, according to their ordinance, for a soothing aroma, an offering by fire to the LORD.

9 Trumpets in Symbolism God’s Judgment "It shall be that when they make a long blast with the ram's horn, and when you hear the sound of the trumpet, all the people shall shout with a great shout; and the wall of the city will fall down flat, and the people will go up every man straight ahead.“ Joshua 6:5

10 Trumpets in Symbolism God’s Judgment And the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound them. Revelation 8:6

11 Trumpets in Symbolism The Last Day For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 1 Thessalonians 4:16

12 Trumpets in Symbolism The Last Day in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. 1 Corinthians 15:52

13 A Feast of Trumpets Imagine the sound of trumpets though the land - In a short time atonement must occur - In a short time tabernacles must be made CAREFUL – 1 Maccabees is an excellent history, but it does not claim to be inspired, nor was it ever considered inspired. It weas likely written much closer to the event than Josephus, and so should be seen as a better record of the events. This passage is taken from the King James Version Apocrypha

14 The Day of Atonement Leviticus 23:26-32; Leviticus 16:5-10 A day of public humiliation for sin Preparation of two goats - One to atone for sin - One to take sin away Le 23:26 The LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 27 "On exactly the tenth day of this seventh month is the day of atonement; it shall be a holy convocation for you, and you shall humble your souls and present an offering by fire to the LORD. 28 "You shall not do any work on this same day, for it is a day of atonement, to make atonement on your behalf before the LORD your God. 29 "If there is any person who will not humble himself on this same day, he shall be cut off from his people. 30 "As for any person who does any work on this same day, that person I will destroy from among his people. 31 "You shall do no work at all. It is to be a perpetual statute throughout your generations in all your dwelling places. 32 "It is to be a sabbath of complete rest to you, and you shall humble your souls; on the ninth of the month at evening, from evening until evening you shall keep your sabbath."

15 The Feast of Tabernacles
'You shall dwell in booths for seven days. All who are native Israelites shall dwell in booths, that your generations may know that I made the children of Israel dwell in booths when I brought them out of the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God.' Leviticus 23:42

16 The Feast of Tabernacles
Yes, I think it is right, as long as I am in this tent, to stir you up by reminding you, knowing that shortly I must put off my tent, just as our Lord Jesus Christ showed me Peter 1:13-14

17 Three Feasts, Three Reminders
Trumpets – the Lord will soon return Tabernacles – this life is temporary Atonement – only the blood of Christ removes sin 1 Cor. 3:16 Do you not know that you are a temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? If any man destroys the temple of God, God will destroy him, for the temple of God is holy, and that is what you are. Ge 6:16 "You shall make a window for the ark, and finish it to a cubit from the top; and set the door of the ark in the side of it; 2Pe 1:19 ¶ So we have the prophetic word made more sure, to which you do well to pay attention as to a lamp shining in a dark place

18 Three Feasts, Three Reminders
Trumpets – the Lord will soon return Suddenly and known by all Tabernacles – this life is temporary We will only dwell within a short time Atonement – only the blood of Christ removes sin Are we prepared for that moment? 1 Cor.

20 When The Trumpet Sounds
For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first Thessalonians 4:16

21 The Tabernacle is Shed in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed Corinthians 15:52

22 Is the Atonement in Place?
And you shall do no work on that same day, for it is the Day of Atonement, to make atonement for you before the LORD your God. For any person who is not afflicted in soul on that same day shall be cut off from his people Leviticus 23:28

23 Is the Atonement in Place?
And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement. Romans 5:11 Or do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus have been baptized into His death? Romans 6:3
