3. Paul began drawing eyes from coaches during his high school playing days at Bishop Garrigan. He was a 6’4” 258lbs lineman. The size of what is considered big for lineman has increased exponentially over the years.

This coming before 6 future Hall of Famers including Alan Page, Gene Upshaw, Lem Barney, Willie Lanier, Rayfield Wright, and Ken Houston. Other notables picked before Paul, were Steve Spurrier, Bob Griese, and Floyd Little

9. Seiler played in just two games in his rookie season for the Jets, but a leg injury kept him off the field.
Paul skipped the 1968 season to serve his country in the military.
He returned for the ’69 season and played in 11 games for the Jets.

10. After an offseason leg surgery, the Jets released Seiler before the 1970 season.
