So proud of you for putting yourself out there. The first part of getting anywhere in life is showing up. Congrats! We are going to have an incredible, fun-filled, character building, hard-working year. Hope you will be joining us.

Mandatory Parent Meeting… Bravo! We can hold another one if we get more recruits. Mandatory Waiver. 3.0 cumulative GPA or last semester grade. Full-body shot. Workshop: Thursday, April 3, 3:30pm (I will be present at 3:00pm) Review and Tryout: Friday, April 4, 3:30pm (I will be present at 3:00pm) First Cut will be made and we will call you that evening if you need to tryout on Monday Tryout in front of the school: April 7, AM Assembly (2 times) for potential Varsity Cheerleaders only. Student Body will vote on Cheerleaders to represent the Student Body. You are leaders of the school. 50% Judges 50% Student Vote JV and Sophomore teams will be made by judges decision only. Freshman will not be on the Varsity team. We will slowly be reverting back to the by-laws. ALL are welcome! Freshman, Sophomores, Competitive Cheer, Indian Hills, Corner Canyon, We want you. You just need to be committed to us too.

5:00pm-8:00pm Rally/Tumble on Chant Followed by Rally/Kick/Jump Dance: Both dance and cheer elements will be present Followed by a Rally Off *Stunting will be judged during the workshop *You may be asked to do kicks/jumps in groups or individually

Cheerleading is a time-consuming, money-hoarding sport. I am here to minimize both but I will need your childs commitment as well as your commitment and dedication to the team, to Alta and to me.

Practices June 4-12 Decompress! Hang-out! June 13 and 14 practice for camp June 23-27 practice, solidify camp material. 2-3 hours each day June 29- July 27 th Travel! Be Lazy! July 28-school starts. Practice each weekday from 7-10am Football season starts immediately. Lets be ready to rock it! Cheer Camp June 16-18 th at Utah State June 19 th at my Lake House Cost: $226 admittance Cost: $100 for camp clothing which we will use throughout the year Fundraiser before June Nobody will go to camp who is not paid for

Varsity MANDATORY!!! Football: Fridays Basketball: Tuesdays and Fridays Schedules will be determined by the Athletics Department soon and given out immediately JV and Sophomores MANDATORY!!! Yes! We will be supporting other sports. Everybody in this school should matter to us. It is your job to find a way to get people to other events. It is your job to have fun and encourage others to have fun as well. If you were on that team, would you want someone there to cheer you on?

Competition is expensive and time consuming. It will NOT be mandatory for any team. Instead, we will hold tryouts for those interested in this commitment and have a competition team. Parents of the competition team will be in charge of fundraising specifically for competition.We will most likely be competing in-state this year. We even have a nationals competition in Utah.

$500 Varsity $300 JV $300 Sophomores $225-350 Camp. Hopefully we will have one fundraiser previous to camp otherwise, you may need to pay and we will reimburse you as we raise money. $7/child/class= $28/month = c$300/year for tumbling and stunting instruction Classes will take place during practices or class time $100-200 for a year-end retreat (optional) Competition (optional) TBA. Funds will be raised by the competition team only Accounts will be set up by the school for you to make payments. You will make all payments in the office to any beautiful secretary. We will be working hard to pay all debts before we partake in any event

Parents will be the driving force of each fundraiser. A committee will be made in order to design and execute fundraisers. Some fundraisers to think about are: A Book Cheer Spectacular Mini Cheer Camp High School Dance Yard Sale Car Wash Neighborhood Babysitting Bash Community Theatre Cookie Dough

All Cheerleaders will be required to have a high level of physical fitness. They need to be healthy, strong and capable to tumble, stunt and endure cardiovascular stress. I will do my part, please help me out.

Probation If you receive less than a 3.0 any quarter Behavioral issues: mean girls Excessive tardies or absences Disorderly conduct during class, games or other school functions Advisor discretion Removal from the team If you receive less than a 3.0 two quarters in a row Two or more Fs during grades 9-12 Alcohol or Drug use Advisor discretion
