3 Definition of Process Analysis Essay
In a process analysis essay, you write to explain how to do something or how something is done. Process = a step-by-step movement from a beginning point to an ending point. Analysis = a careful examination; a close, detailed look at something. 4/5/2019 Marine Milad

4 Two Types of Process Analysis Essays
The directional type which provides instructions on how to do something. The informational type which tells how something works, how something is made, or how something occurred. A process is explained by dividing it into steps and presenting those steps in a clear sequence. 4/5/2019 MAPTAP 2004

5 Features of Process Analysis Essay
Helps readers perform the steps themselves, Helps them understand how something works, Presents the essential steps in a process, Explains steps in detail, and Presents steps in logical order (usually time order - chronological). 4/5/2019 Marine Milad
