Share your experiences Critique, don’t criticize Positive Influence In-game discussions – Look forward, not backward Halftime/Post Game discussions on game’s events !!!!Rate Your crew on Arbiter!!!!!

COORDINATOR Contact Umpire if he has not contacted you
Set meeting time & place at Site Send pre-game info to crew members ahead of time: Create Pre-Game brief document for rapid discussion Contact school/coach/team contact to confirm game Brief table personnel before game Walk the field

ACCOUNTABLE/PERSONABLE
Accept the responsibilities of your position Be willing to teach in a classroom environment Contact your assignor if any issues occur your game Be honest Don’t be a JERK! Promote good will between officials & players, coaches, and parents Smile

PHYSICAL FITNESS Look the part Be able to cover the field
Be in position to make the call Have presence Set the example

AVAILABILITY More games = more experience
The game needs Y-O-U: be available No part-time crew chiefs Training Share your knowledge with the group You are the most valuable asset the SDCLOA has in making our group better as a whole – you make yourself useless to the group if you are unavailable to the group
