It can be used to anchor us - Hebrews 6:18-19 that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we might have strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us. This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the Presence behind the veil,

Many in the world also have “hope” “I want to go to heaven” “I hope I go to heaven” Their hope is like a lottery ticket used There is no promise behind it

The other hope is hopeless! Remember that you were at that time separate from Christ, excluded from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. Ephesians 2:12

27. There Are Two Hopes
Hope of eternal life – the Gospel promise Hope of the world – hopeless before God You have only one or the other!

28. How To Have Hope
Hope begins with Christ in us – Colossians 1:27 Hope is only found in Christ – Romans 6:23 THEREFORE: those in Christ have real hope!
