4. Students at Jenkins Independent are going to University of Pikeville to take college classes. This year we have twelve students participating in this program. 10. Pep Rally! On August 23, we had a pep rally for the football boys, before their big game against Allen Central.

20. Attendance for August. For August the 8 th grade had the best attendance, with 95.59%. The overall attendance of Jenkins Middle High campus was 93.42%.
