1. 3rd Grade Mrs. Crowder’s November 20th Highlights This Week Reminders
Glad to be back in the classroom. I enjoyed my time at The Ohio State University, bringing back new thinking of my own and to share with teachers at WL-S, but man did I miss my students!
Reading
We got right back into the swing of things, analyzing what makes a fiction story fantasy, and what makes a fiction story realistic fiction.
Writing
This week we worked on some special Thanksgiving Day poetry. We will be moving into editing our writing next week
Vocabulary
We will be keeping the new vocabulary we identified this week, and carrying it over to next week.
Homework:
Students should continue to study their vocabulary words and their spelling words, working on their meaning and spelling patterns. Don’t forget to read 15 minutes every night.
Important Dates:
November 21st -23rd : No School (Thanksgiving Break)
December 12th - One hour delay
December 14th - Ohio Caverns field trip
Dec. 20th –Jan 2nd - No School (Christmas/New Year’s)
