14. Independent Reading
Students are expected to read a minimum of 20 books in French and 20 books in English.
The book reports are written in the Independent Reading Booklet.
50 pages = 1 book in French
100 pages = 1 book in English

15. Monthly Reading Genres
Each month, students will read a book in a specific literary genre (cartoons/manga, historical fiction, biography, science fiction,…)
Instead of a summary, they will present a project based on the book. Projects can be a poster, a diorama, a Powerpoint, …
These projects will count in the 20 books.

Homework is copied down in agendas and checked daily (during the first few weeks)
Communication folders have homework and other communication papers
