Online Health Care Administration How to dress for a professional interview New health care regulations, technology advances and an aging population have created a booming market for health care administrators. More than 73,000 medical and health service manager positions are expected to be created through 2022, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Responsible for the oversight of medical facilities ranging from large hospitals to rehabilitation centers and nursing homes, health care administrators coordinate care, create schedules, manage finances and work with medical staff. In an online health care administration and management degree program, students will study business and management with a health care slant. While most graduates use the degree to enter health care management, they aren’t limited to that field. The fundamental analytical, communication and technical skills that students develop in the program could be used to work in areas such as human resources in other fields. I am a mother of two, ages 7 and 2 months. I stay at home with the two months old because daycare is to expensive. This has been a wonderful opportunity for me because I was recently able to get a position within an organization human resources team that allows me to work from home. I truly believe if I was not apart of this program I would not have been considered for this position.” With the online learning, I am able to work at my own pace which is a blessing with a two months who makes her own schedule and my 7 year old son who is in a lot of activities. I like that everything is done online, there are no requirements to come in to a classroom and or even having to sit through seminars at a certain time on a specific day each week. With having children this program was best for me because they provide the due dates of assignments and gave us the options to turn them in early.
