What is French 1 Intensified?
Students have taken 6th grade Introduction to French and done well Students have a grasp of basic language vocabulary and functions Students have read the book “Brandon Brown veut un chien”

About this course: I use TPRS teaching method: Teaching Proficiency through Reading and Storytelling. Teaches ACQUISITION, not memorization No vocabulary lists (well….) Engaging…funny, interesting, student led Excellent results on county-wide assessments

Classroom Rules ONLY positive, respectful talk allowed.
Story endings: No deaths or serious injuries No negative self-talk or putting down others One person talks while the other listen Interpersonal Communication score Consequences: Think sheet, call home Charged ipads everyday!

Absences When a student is absent, the student should: Check Canvas
Remind me in class of his/her absence. Available during 7th grade lunch and after school for making up work.
