Explore your experience as a writer and communicator and learn how to approach writing in the social work discipline
Identify your writing strengths and set goals for areas that you will need to improve or perfect
Develop strategies to plan and execute a writing project
Perfect your use of APA and learn how to effectively incorporate scholarly sources and evidence in your writing
Hybrid and In-Person Classes
The course meets on three Saturdays in September and October
Two class days are shared with Field Orientation and one class is a full-day writer’s workshop
Online work between class meetings helps students prepare and mirrors what you will be doing in your MSW classes
