Read Head, Body, Legs and discuss Mini lesson: Cause and Effect Mini Lesson: Drawing Conclusions Practice vocabulary. Read the story p. 38 Use context clues to understand. Practice identifying Cause and Effect. Comprehension assessment on the story. Skill check on drawing conclusion and cause and effect. Vocabulary Gasped Attached Frantically Swung Delicious Higher order questions Find a cause and effect in the story. Explain their relationship. What causes the body parts to work together? Can you think of another way to work together? How did the illustrations help show that the story was fiction? Apply the science in this story with the main selection. Where do you see it happening? How does visualizing help you sequence the story? Assessment Strategy Journal page and worksheet. Use the mini lesson pages 177 to assess. Drawing conclusion task cards.
