UCF Dual Enrollment/Early Admission
Dual enrollment (part-time enrollment) or early admission (full-time enrollment) Have at least a 3.8 high school GPA based upon our calculation of academic core classes only SAT or ACT scores of at least: SAT 1330 (Evidenced-based Reading and Writing + Math) ACT: 28 (composite) All required official academic transcripts and/or test scores should be sent to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. An application fee is not required for dual enrollment (part-time enrollment) applicants. The deadlines to apply for admission are: March 1 for Summer May 1 for Fall November 1 for Spring

Dual Enrollment and Scheduling
4 college courses= no classes required at EHS 3 college courses= 2-3 courses at EHS 2 college courses = 3-4 courses at EHS 1 college course= 5 at courses EHS * We strongly encourage students to take at least one course at EHS who are full time at Valencia College courses should be scheduled around the EHS schedule Transportation is not provided Classes can be taken online, in person or mixed mode Students must meet with their counselor and Ms. Neiswanger to review course selection each semester.

Scheduling continued Students are able to have OCVS online class periods to work on online DE courses If students choose this option, they must attend class daily SLS1122 New Student Experience will be offered on campus at EHS next year New Valencia DE students are STRONGLY encouraged to take this course!

Text Books and Book Vouchers
All text books for dual enrollment courses are free Text book vouchers must be picked up before the end of the first week of classes Your counselor must sign off on your schedule prior to picking up your book voucher All books from the previous semester must be returned to receive a new book voucher Students must have a signed Dual Enrollment Agreement form on file prior to receiving a book voucher

PERT Testing at EHS The PERT will be offered at EHS the first week of February. Students need to sign up by January 28th using the following link: Remember, 9th and 10th grade students will need to take the PERT Reading and Writing as they will not have the needed FSA score yet. See Ms. Neiswanger if you have questions!
