Aim: How do gases behave according to kinetic molecular theory
Aim: How do gases behave according to kinetic molecular theory? Kinetic Molecular Theory Gases consist of hard, spherical particles. Particles are so tiny that individual volumes of the particles themselves are negligible (insignificant.) Gas particles are so far apart therefore no attractive forces of attraction exist and the volume occupied by the particles themselves is negligible.

Aim: How do gases behave according to kinetic molecular theory?
Compressibility-a measure of how much the volume of gases decreases under pressure. Gas particles move in constant random straight-line motion. Collisions are elastic (k.e. is constant.)

Aim: How do gases behave according to kinetic molecular theory?
Essential Question: Why are gases most ideal at low pressure and high temperature?
