Take out your bell ringers and blue or black ball point pen Final Bell Ringer for 2018 – skip a line –date—skip a line topic Topic: First Semester Reflection (long one-10 minutes)Reflect upon your first semester in 7th grade. What have you noticed about 7th grade? What have you noticed about yourself in the last 5 months? Have you changed? What have been your successes and failures?

Respect Others & Yourself Don't try to make others feel embarrassed. Don't make fun of others, or roll your eyes, or make faces when they are speaking. Keep your eyes on the presentation- pay attention Do not talk or make comments during presentations After presentations we will snap 3 times to show our appreciation Be kind to yourself; do not say derogatory things about yourself– you have done the assignment—be proud 

4 Listening & Responding in Writing
Complete the form for each speaker; you will have time after each one. 1. Your need to write the first name of each speaker. Do not ask how to spell it; spell it the way it sounds 2. Write the title of the story (use quotation marks & capitalization rules) 3. “Easy to understand” rate (1-5): 1 not easy 5 very easy to understand 4. “Eye contact”--Keep a tally up to 5 5. “Clear pronunciation”: rating of 1-5 6. One complete sentence regarding SPECIFIC element
