Self-editing Reading: We are reading two different texts: “The River Between Us” (Narrative) “The Boys’ War” (Primary Sources from the Civil War) -We are focusing on creating main ideas. *Ask your child what they just read after reading each night for homework!* Social Studies: We are learning about the Civil war. Students will read firsthand accounts about life during the Civil War We are focusing on how wars impact people.
