2. Expectations are high!
Respecting others in this cast key part this production. It is very important to create a team environment for our show. We believe that theater can have a family feel.
If you are disrespecting others, defying authority, not listening, disruptive during rehearsals or vandalizing school property, you will be removed from the production.
PRACTICING GOOD BEHAVIOR
is excepted at all times.

3. How can parents help?
Check in with your child about rehearsals. Are there lines, songs or dances to be practiced?
Ask them to tell you the story of Seussical
Volunteer to assist during tech week:
Sunday, February 3, 12-4 PM (Parents only, please) setting the stage with scenery, painting risers, organizing costumes and setting dressing rooms
Assist during February 4 and February 5 tech nights at the high school auditorium Sign-ups will be available on Aquila Theater Arts tab, parents needs to support students backstage, bring pick up pizza and fruit for dinner on Feb 5.

5. Funding
Aquila Theater Arts is “free to you” program. We never ask directly for funding and work on donations, grant and money from Targeted Services.
Your exit ticket will be to sign the green form for your child so that we can get additional funding through Targeted Services. There will be many academic connections and learning during out rehearsals and this benefits the students growth in the classroom as well.

7. Costumes
Each group will be expected to provide the base for their costume. Costume bases are to be brought to Mrs. Haen’s room in a brown grocery bag labeled on the outside with the student’s name. Each costume piece should also be labeled with the students’ name inside on the collar or tag. Costumes bases should arrive by the first rehearsal in January, but are accepted earlier.
