7. Conduction System
The heart has a unique conduction system as it has cells that depolarize SEPARATE from the brain
When depolarization starts in one cell, it moves slowly to it’s neighbours like a wave
The heart also has “highway” tracks and nerves to “drop off” the signal in other areas it wants to contract
