2. Objective
Students will discuss the Cartesian coordinate system and use it to input commands in AutoCAD by studying absolute, relative, and polar coordinate systems.

3. RENE´ DECARTES
René Descartes (March 31, 1596 – February 11, 1650), was a highly influential French philosopher, mathematician, scientist, and writer. He has been dubbed the "Father of Modern Philosophy" and the "Father of Modern Mathematics", and much of subsequent Western philosophy is a reaction to his writings, which continue to be studied closely, even to the present day.

In a rectangle two sides have equal length.
