Disneyland Resort Disney University Internship Summer/Fall 2019
Responsibilities: Providing overall support for the Disney University Anaheim Campus including supporting the Manager of the Disney University. Assisting in the day-to-day operation of the Disney University Anaheim campus Conducting operational opening and closing procedures of the Disney University and supporting daily Cast, Guest and business needs. A high level of computer and technical system understanding is required. Required Education Current student or recent graduate pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or closely related field. Transcripts are required to be sent in, Program Length: The approximate dates of this internship are June 2019 through January Interns must be fully available for the duration of the internship. General Internship; $12/hour
**Continuous recruitment and may close at any time. • Administrative support duties such as conducting research, gathering data, preparing spreadsheets, and other similar functions • Analyze, generate and maintain records and other reference material necessary for departmental use; • Answer and make phone calls, respond to human resources related questions and send written material as appropriate; • Prepares written communications; • Evaluates programs and processes to recommend improvements; • Perform other related duties as assigned. Required Education: Metrolink internship candidates must be currently enrolled in a college, university, educational institution, vocational school or program and demonstrate a commitment to public service and our shared values. Tasks!! • Students pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field preferred; • Prior successful work experience in a fast paced environment; • Demonstrate strong and effective communication skills both verbally and in writing; • Ability to handle multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines with successful outcomes; • Demonstrate strong and effective organizational and time management skills; • Ability to work independent of supervisor and be motivated to complete work with speed and accuracy; • Comfortable using a computer, knowledge of Microsoft Office.Selection Process:
