Lights Strobe vs. Speedlight Strobe is a larger/stronger light powered by AC Power faster recycle times so the photographer does not have to wait for the light to be ready Speedlight is powered by batteries. It is essential for many photographers to have with them on location to provide additional lighting when necessary. Does take longer to recycle the light on a Speedlight verses a strobe.
