2. Why Red Ribbon Week?
It is estimated that 1 out of 10 babies born in wv are born addicted to drugs.
WV has the highest rate of Opioid related deaths in the United states.
WV had over 10,000 drug related deaths between 2013 to data is not yet available.
Because we live in WV, we are 3 times more likely to die by drug overdose than anyone else in the united states.

3. It is up to us to change our home state. It is about saving lives.
The red ribbon campaign honors those who fight drug use and addiction.
Many lives are touched by addiction; the user and their family.
each person has the right to build a better life for themselves, free from addiction.

4. This year we will celebrate our pledge to remain drug free for life.

Last week, The kindness cup was awarded to the Lightning McQueens who have 243 kind acts!
Congratulations and keep the kindness coming!
We will re-award the kindness cup in November – it could go to anyone!

11. Door contest will be judged today!
Our judges will be on site Tonight!
Do your last minute decorating and be ready for judging!
