Describe the major focus of the presentation and why it is important. Introduce each of the major topics. To provide a road map for the audience, you can repeat this Overview slide throughout the presentation, highlighting the particular topic you will discuss next.

5 Summative Assessments
Microsoft Engineering Excellence Summative Assessments Tests are passed back and reviewed in class Tests are then collected and kept on file Tests will not be sent home with students. Students can receive one on one feedback during flextime or tutoring times. If your student has a tutor, then I can provide the tutor with specific topics and sample problems that relate to your child's areas of weakness. Microsoft Confidential

6 Summative Assessments Retakes
Microsoft Engineering Excellence Summative Assessments Retakes Students are allowed to retake up to three multiple choice tests during the semester. Quizzes and final exams cannot be retaken. Student must have completed all homework in order to qualify for a retake. The retake grade goes into the grade book (even if it is lower than the original grade). The retake will be taken during one sitting (usually around 45 minutes) Microsoft Confidential

Learning Targets Statements written in student friendly language that clearly explain what the teach expects his/her students to know. Help students identify strengths and weaknesses. Microsoft Engineering Excellence Practice Makes Perfect Expect Daily Homework/Check Website On days homework has not been assigned, students should review their learning targets, vocabulary, quizzes, and previous assignments. Late Work Homework is not collected for a grade in this class, but must be completed in order to take a retake Projects may be submitted late, but will lose some credit If a student misses a test they must take the retake on their own time, either before or after school Microsoft Confidential

Spend some time on AP Stats College Board website AP Test is Thursday Afternoon May 16th (same date as AP World History in the morning) Our Final Exam in class is May 9th and 10th
